When you here the term “paradise on earth” this must be why that saying was created. The island of St. John was A.M.A.ZING! The people, the scenery, the ocean, everything was so beautiful and serereal. We are coming back with our kids to this island, our most favorite on the trip. I remember thinking when I was laying on the beach..remember this place for it will be your “happy place” once you get back home. Kids crying, throw up in your hair, messy house, kids needing to be everywhere at the same time, dinner isn’t made, toys scattered everywhere, laundry up to your eyeballs, kids up at 7am, baby crying at 3am…must go to my happy place!
Part II of our trip..first port, Puerto Rico. (Ok so just so you are not confused, the first set of pictures are when we were leaving Miami). So back to Puerto Rico…what a beautiful and old city! We went to the government building which was so ornate and so artistic. I loved all the colors! We also went to this old fort by the sea. It was over 400 years old! I loved exploring the city from my lens. What a fun treat this trip was for me to play on my artistic side! Much delight!!!
WOW! These are beautiful, I married so far up!
Cory and I went away for 10 day cruise with Cory’s company to St. Maartin, St. John, Puerto Rico and St. Thomas. It was quite the feat to organize child care for my 5 monkeys. Suffice to say, it took a village! I really really missed my kids and it was so hard to be away but I especialy needed a break! We had a very relaxing time and really got to know his awesome employees so much better! They are all a great group of people and I am so blessed Cory gets to work with them. We did some amazing excursions and explored a lot of cool places. Here is Part I of our trip…exploring the ship. Seriously isn’t that water TO DIE FOR..no added photoshop here!
You deserve a medal for being able to leave your kids for that long!!! Congratulations and welcome home!!!!!!!
He is kind, gentle and very giving with his time. He loves my kids unconditionally. When my kids were little, they used to call him the “choo choo grandpa” because he loved trains and has a large outdoor train set in his yard. Now he is called the “bunny farm” grandpa! He has about 30+ rabbits in his backyard for the grandkids to play with and catch. What kind a grandpa does this for his grandkids? Ours does!!!!
Lisa, these are beautiful. I’m just getting started catching up with your work, but these caught my eye and my heart before I could get any farther. This is what photography is all about. <3
Could it be that this little guy is 3? He is THE most happy kid yet THE most OCD child I own. 99% of the time I love him to death. The other 1%..well I will leave that up to your imagination! Love ya crazy pirate Cruzy!
